National Consumer Credit Protection regime – ASIC Roadshow

Changes to timetable for Consumer Credit Reforms affect brokers and lenders
The Minister for Financial Services, Superannuation and Corporate Law, Chris Bowen MP announced on Friday 14 August 2009 a number of changes to the proposed timetable for the introduction of the National Consumer Credit Protection reform. National Consumer Credit Protection Reform package – June 2009
The Minister for Financial Services, Superannuation and Corporate Law, Chris Bowen MP introduced a package of bills on 25 June 2009 that will establish a national law for the regulation of consumer credit.
