Background:

Justin’s journey to the law was not as direct as others having initially commenced employment as Assistant Town Planner with Greater Cessnock City Council. During 1980 and 1981 Justin undertook through external studies at the University of New England, Armidale, subjects towards obtaining the Degree of Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning.

In 1981 he decided to pursue legal studies and left Council's employment in late 1981.

Justin undertook external studies from Macquarie University, obtaining of the Degree of Bachelor of Legal Studies completing the Degree in June 1986. He received 3 University Prizes in Succession, Business Organisations and Legal Practice.

Justin has developed considerable experience in property, commercial and local government law. He has a very strong reputation as a lawyer with a strong attention to detail. Planning and Environmental Law are a significant part of his skill set.

He commenced employment with the firm, in September 1989 and became a partner in on 1 July 1991. He has since obtained a Masters of Laws Degree (majoring in Environmental and Local Government Law).
