Background:

Norm Morgan has provided a stability and depth to Donovan Oates Hannaford that is missing in many of the newer firms. He has the depth of knowledge and experience that can only come from being at the centre of the growth of Port Macquarie.

He started with the firm in December 1973 as an articled clerk with David Donovan as his Master Solicitor.

Norm had experience in all forms of litigation as a junior solicitor. He developed a strong practice in property and estate planning. Norm has assisted many clients and families in the Port Macquarie Hastings district.

He became a partner in Donovan Oates Hannaford in 1977. He is the only Notary Public in the region.

Community Involvement:

• Port Macquarie Surf Life Saving Club – Assistant Secretary 1974-75, Secretary for 6 years, President for 14 years.
• Elected a Life Member of Port Macquarie Surf Life Saving Club in 1981 he is a life governor and still an active Patrol Member with that Club.
• Hastings Public School P & C – Secretary for 6 years and President for 8 years.
• Hastings Public School – School Council – Inaugural Secretary and President for 4 years.
• Port Macquarie Amateur Swimming Club – former Publicity Officer for 7 years.
• Port Macquarie Basketball Association – former Manager and Assistant Coach on representative teams for 6 years.
• Former Port Macquarie High School Council President and Secretary.
• Former President of Port Macquarie High School P & C.
