Who We Are

History

In 1946, the late Frank Donovan, on discharge from the RAAF, came to Port Macquarie and took over an existing branch office of a Kempsey law firm belonging to the Sheridan Family. The firm has continued to expand over the years and now comprises highly qualified Lawyers and a team of dedicated support staff.

Some clients have remained with the firm since those early years.

We are a client focused law firm, therefore as well as providing a high level of legal service to our clients; each of our staff is an active participant in the community.

Donovan Oates Hannaford Lawyers also takes part in sponsoring many activities in the local community in order to benefit groups or individuals.

As Port Macquarie and the surrounding areas have expanded so has the demand for a wider range of legal services. We believe that by investing in our people, we are ensuring that a high level service is provided to our clients.
