Background

Sarah Mehlert has dealt with a variety of property and commercial transactions over the last 12 years. Having worked in a number of regional and city practices, she has a broad understanding
of the legal system and is able to provide well-rounded advice to her clients.

Sarah’s property practice consists of leasing, easements, and duty advice, with expertise in compulsory acquisition of Crown Land. In commercial matters, she assists clients in the sale, purchase, and management of their businesses. She has experience advising clients in corporate matters, including the not-for-profit sector, and advocating for landowners in neighbourhood
disputes.

Sarah joined the team at Donovan Oates Hannaford in 2020, after relocating from Sydney to be closer to her family. Originally from Coffs Harbour, Sarah has an appreciation of the joys and
challenges experienced by those who call the mid-north coast home.

Not only is Sarah a knowledgeable lawyer with a great attention to detail, she is also a breath of fresh air. Always providing friendly and thorough service to her clients.
