Background

Erin Fuller is a specialist lawyer and experienced litigator who brings an exceptional blend of expertise and experience to Donovan Oates Hannaford, making her a valuable and distinctive member of the firm’s team.

Prior to joining Donovan Oates Hannaford, Erin was a specialist environment and planning lawyer at a “top-tier” global law firm. Returning to her roots, she now proudly practices from the mid-north coast, the area where she grew up, and is passionate about promoting the region.

Erin also holds qualifications in planning and environmental science, and prior to admission as a lawyer gained twenty years’ professional experience in local and State government in planning, environmental and senior management roles.

Erin draws on this breadth of experience to offer clients a rare depth of insight that goes well beyond traditional legal advice. Her background enables her to provide practical and well-rounded guidance and representation to both private and government clients. She advises across a broad range of planning, environmental and regulatory matters.

Recently elected by her peers as a member to the NSW Division Committee of the Planning Institute of Australia, Erin volunteers her time to contribute to advocacy, particularly around planning system reforms and infrastructure and housing.

Her combined experience in government, planning, the environment and as a lawyer equips Erin to deliver informed, strategic and commercially aware advice — a capability that is both highly valued by clients and a unique strength for a regional law firm.
